I have a passion for yoga and last year I gained certificates in Yoga Teacher Training, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Anatomy. I am also trained in Advanced Motivational Interviewing, Advanced CBT, Mindfulness Life Coaching, Safeguarding and I am also a L2 Mental Health First Aider. Last month I was awarded a Valued Star Award by a colleague for my contribution to supporting my colleagues with yoga and mindfulness sessions.
When it comes to making a social impact, where do I start? I regularly volunteer as a litter picker, I maintain a hedgehog feeding station, I'm an active member of Team Green at my company, and in previous roles I've created the most amazing projects that have made huge changes to individuals, communities, and disadvantaged groups. I relocated to Africa to work on a wide range of conservation projects, setting up volunteer programmes that would see volunteers from across the globe supporting the rehabilitation of lions and cheetahs, whilst educating the local communities about the importance of caring for the environment.
I have a strong attitude when working towards values. I am not your average tick box type of staff member as I like to go the extra mile and make magical things happen. If you’re passionate about values too then we’re likely going to get on very well.
